His name is Yado Yakub.
His father is a doctor from Syria and his mother is a teacher from Ireland.
There are a lot of Coptic Christians in Syria, but he might be Muslim. I don't know. Doesn't matter, because he was born on US soil and served in the US Marines.
I have a friend who is very similar. His father is a doctor from Lebanon who is a Muslim. His mother is a Chrisitan from England. He was raised as a Christian even though his father is a practicing Muslim.

If the populist/nationalist right doesn’t win the left will destroy Elon, take it and enact the same control mechanisms they have in China and Europe.
But we will never have a peaceful outcome to this divide as long as half the country is operating under a different understanding of the facts. Even well meaning people will come to the wrong conclusions when their core assumptions are so different.
