hey Manchin - you are not interested in the border - if you were, you know the answer - tell Biden to stop doing what he is doing.
if there are problems with THAT then propose a 'concession' starting with what actually works, and let the DEMs define some things they'd give up on welfare and DEI for instance just to get a 'few more illegals' into the country.
This is as SIMPLE as Biden's intellect - anybody can do it - except, apparently, any democrat.

The border was in FINE shape the way Trump left it - the only people disappointed were the Democrats who want to flood the USA with illegal immigrants so they can get them citizenship and votes. There is NOTHING to 'compromise' with the DEMs on - they DESTROYED it - put it back the way it WAS and then we can start trying to make it BETTER - but then DEMs wold have to "negotiate aways something THEY want to make it better"

no deal to even discuss without border security restored to at least as good as when Biden abdicated his duty and broke it. "U broke it - U own it."
THEN - when it is fixed to the point where Biden broke it - THEN we can start talking about "improvements" for THAT point.
But to make it better - the DEMs will have to negotiate away some of their closely held desires.
