Whataburger announced a cool little promo they are doing for Teacher Appreciation Day. If you are a teacher you get a free breakfast.
Sounds pretty cool right? Sounds like if you are a teacher you would feel a little appreciated right?
I’m in shock at the comments on their post. It’s nothing but teachers bitching about whataburger and a bunch of fricking liberals trashing whataburger because they are a racist company from a red racist state. The teacher comments are basically the same thing.. bitching about whataburger.. how they deserve more than shitty whataburger.. bla bla bla
I just don’t understand how we got here as a society

On the same topic, today this YouTube channel was reacting to "A Goofy Movie". Most of the comments were something along the lines I'm glad you're finally reacting to a black film. I was like WTF about a goofy movie is a "black" film? People are so obsessed with race these days, it's honestly crazy

I've occasionally looked at the comments on tweets and did searchs and I'm convinced the vast majority of activity on Twitter is either bots, AI, or sock puppet account farms run by organizations.
There's a staggering number of profiles with 100k+ tweets in just a few years, the names are always ultra generic like Marsha2581_5 and their activity is never about themselves.
Twitter seems like 5% high profile people or brands, 20% average people, and 75% fake activity.

It's not healthy but I sure as shite have never heard anything about their political point of view or them being racist. And I lived in South Texas for years where there are whataburgers everywhere (Corpus where it originated)

Because that's the hive mind of a union. They're not speaking as individual teachers, thinking for themselves. They're reading from a script from the Socialist Worker's Teachers Union (probably not the actual name, but might as well be) in a coordinated effort to vilify a known 'conservative' company. And pretty much anyone NOT on their side is the enemy, so that's how the Leftist comrades do.
