Approximately used to convey the idea of proportionality is pretty lame when left open ended. How is it you claim to be so authoritative and precise on other numerical points, e.g. lost revenue, but here you resort to approximation? Lose your confidence or something?

My confidence is just fine. I didn't want to embarrass you more than you've already embarrassed yourself. But you've left me no choice.

Here are the numbers: (Total EBR Population and area taken from this link from the US government's census data as of 2013): LINK

SG = 27.5% of the population of EBR Parish after removing the populations of Baker, Zachary and Central.

EBR: 445,227
Baker: 13,890
Zachary: 15,099
Central: 26,874 (from your post on the previous page of this thread)
St George estimated: 107,262 LINK

445,227-13,890-15,099-26874 = 389,364

107,262/389,364 = 27.5%

SG = 23.8% of the geographical area (sq miles, land only, removing water covered area) of EBR Parish, again removing the areas of Baker, Zachary and Central.

EBR: 455.37 sq miles
Baker: 8.5
Zachary: 23.7
Central: 66 (from your post)
St George: 84.6 LINK

455.37-8.5-23.7-66 = 357.17

84.6/357.17 = 23.8%

There's your precise numbers. You should be ashamed. And I'll never have confidence in your tax advice posts on the Money Board again. You suck at numbers.

I don't want to play your link game, but why don't you just man up and answer the questions?

Do you believe SG supporters are racist, yes or no? (if you want to straddle the fence and say yes and no, then answer as to the majority)

Do you support the petition currently being circulated to allow a vote on SG incorporation, yes or no?

I noticed you did not comment on my observation that you were confused by a piece of proposed legislation. Were you or were you not confused by Sen. White's bill?

Some SG supporters on this board are definitely racist. It's impossible for me to say ALL of the SG supporters are racist.

If they get the 25% required signatures honestly without lying to their voters to get them, then yes, they should be allowed to vote on it. My problem is the SG leaders have been anything but honest with the SG voters.

I won't be replying to your juvenile posts again.

It's incredibly racist and backwards, theyre just stealing the gameplan of Karl Rove who essentially invented the redistricting phase that has bought the Republicans an extra 10 or 12 years of house control.

If you look at the birth rates, it's only a matter of 8-16 years before Texas and Georgia are blue states and the redistricting firewall implodes.

The rise of the tea party and the death of moderate Republicans is probably expediting that, it will probably happen within 6 to 8 years

you mean like how black/DEM districts are gerrymandered, making stronger GOP areas surrounding the gerrymandered district? LA is a perfect example of this

Since the MOL failed to support the people in the unincorporated areas of SE-BR I hope they return the favor. If I need anything from Dillard's of Sears a nice trip to Hammond is in order.

Although I an currently trapped in the People's Republic of Baton Rouge, I have already directed my spending for groceries, clothes, etc to Livingston & Ascension Parishes if I can't just buy it from Amazon. My dream house will be up for sale by year end or as soon as renovations are completed.

Your lol retort offered zero substance. Do you care to elaborate as to what specifically you disagreed with and give details as to why?
