My prediction... CNN will drum up a past Anti-Christian statement or position to drive a wedge between the President and the Christian right.

That is a good prediction based on CNN's agit-prop mission, which they will blast into overdrive as we approach November. It will be admirable to observe. Red China will most certainly observe their efforts with admiration and will probably get an idea or two WRT how to improve their own domestic Indoctrination efforts.
I agree that an effort to drive Evangelicals away from Trump is something we'll see soon on CNN.
I don't think that we'll see a big effort to drive "Veterans" away from Trump because the political views of this rather large demo group that we call "Veterans" is already divided IMHO. I know that we hear more from the Pro Trump Vets, but, there are many Vets who are Democrats and they aren't as vocal.

They will stop at nothing. Anything Trump advocates the will oppose. Anything Trump opposes they will advocate.
Fortunately, very few will be watching. Almost everyone who is watching would vote for the Democrat candidate anyway . Hopefully none of their hosts will be debate moderators.
