Let social services review income and background and place children with families as a civic duty. You are contacted by a case manager and informed that you will be made responsible for the child. A penalty is paid, if you refuse, that goes to the child. If you agree, the child receives free health care for life and you are income tax exempt until the child is 25. Only once per household.

Thoughts?

There’s already a surplus of non-white infants. That’s why folks adopt kids from Russian orphanages (which is a disaster).

Are you suggesting we also force parents to adopt?

No. This goes completely against any idea of liberty.

There are hundreds of thousands of children waiting to be adopted.

What about them...right now?

and then, force people to raise these babies?

what could go wrong?

Why not just lower the barriers so the insane amount of money spent on adoption can be used for the baby instead?

Doesnt have to be mandatory. More hetero-couples want to adopt than kids available.

And any "law" would have to include it be a hetero-couple before I would personally agree.

Sad I have to make it that specific...

How about, and I might be crazy here, don’t get pregnant if you can’t afford to raise a child. Be responsible with your reproductive organs. If you want to frick, use birth control.

I adopted two mixed-race children from the US. Don't be so flip. You know who doesn't adopt kids? Progressives. When conservatives are anti-abortion, we know damn well we'll be the ones who raise and support them.

Then how's this:
Make out-of-wedlock births illegal.

That was easy.

Im not trying to force anybody to do anything.

I'm trying to have a conversation about an alternative solution that allows you to have a baby and not abandon it to a horrible life or kill it. The only forcing in my proposal is a penalty for not meeting your civic duty to care for a child without a family. No different than penalties for not serving jury duty.

This mandatory adoption policy would go hand in hand with a heartbeat abortion law with no restrictions pre heartbeat. I believe life begins at conception, so this is a big compromise.

Just trying to think about a real non hipocritical solution to unwanted pregnancy.

Yeah man, this is an important issue to me, seeing as I entered foster care at the age of 1 years old. I witnessed the effects of unwanted pregnancies every day man, it was hell. You pro life Republicans are simply virtue signaling because you dont give a frick about kids after they are born.

So you've adopted? My wife, my son, my brother in law are adopted. Don't be so vehement.
