I got into it with a guy asking the same question about Trumps “racism”. In a nutshell he said it’s not what he says, but it’s the way he says things and the way he does things that are racist. He went further to say that whites are racist and don’t even know it.

Scarborough announced he was resigning from Congress on May 25, 2001. LINK
Lori Klausutis died on July 20, 2001 -- 7+ weeks later.
