MAGA is fricked.

Not a lot of friendly looking faces in the applicable Appellate Division.

2nd District Appellate Division of New York

And to be perfectly honest if he started a fundraiser to pay off the verdict, I would send him $100 or so.

He and his family have been royally fricked over.

This country is an absolute perversion of what it claims to be. The judicial system in this country exists for two reasons: to empower the Deep State and give legitimacy to our corrupt ruling class.

Democrates control a lot of the court system and they are willing to abuse their power.

If I were him, I would sell my NY holdings and purchase real estate in FL or TX

Similar to what Elon just did by having space x reincorporate in Texas.

Everything is going to end up at the Supreme Court anyway. Even if Trump wins and pardons himself, that will ultimately end up being decided by the Supremes.

He will sell it for above the 'fraudulent' appraised value.

That would be giving the left exactly what they want, to run Trump out of there in disgrace. He’ll never do that

New York City is the modern equivalent of the whore of Babylon. There is nothing that can happen to that den of thieves that they don't richly deserve. Hell is what that den of democrat demons deserve. They are irredeemable.

They are not stupid, they realize this was just a Lawfare tactic (which the dummies probably approve of sadly) but they do not want to run business out of the state and if this stand no large business will remain headquartered in New York unless they are stupid.

The law was not written for a victimless crime. Never, in the history of the law, has there ever been a verdict, using this law, when there is no victim.

Do you mean the E Jean Carrol farce or the one with Judge Beige Skeltor with the Letitia james farce?

If you mean Letitia’s- I think Trump has a way better chance on appeal. There are some serious due process concerns with dissolving someone’s business and giving a 9 figure penalty with no proof of harm.

He’s not going to jail and has a way to SCOTUS based on the BMW standard related to punitive damages. I haven’t totally researched it, but I don’t think they’ve opined on the reasonableness of a civil penalty.

If it’s the Ejean Carrol bullshite, he may be stuck with a state court appeal.

His only way to SCOTUS is on maybe another look see at the NYT v Sullivan standard

The appeals court already ruled the case was a joke.
