She used to want papa not to preach because she was keepin' her baby.

Madonna — whose Catholic background has always played a role of one kind or another in her music career — said she'd like to have a meeting with Pope Francis and guessed what she might say to the pontiff.

"Let's talk about Jesus' point of view about women. Let's talk about it," Madonna revealed during a Tuesday episode of Andrew Denton's Interview, an Australian chat show, the Daily Mail said.

Then the 60-year-old singer said she'd ask the pope, "And don't you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?"

Madonna seemed confident such a Vatican audience could take place in the future, the outlet noted: "One day he might invite me. I think this one might ... I think he would be open to having that conversation with me."

The politically left-wing performer has made her career by saying and doing controversial things. In recent years, Madonna commanded headlines by pulling down a fan's top and exposing her breast to a concert audience and saying during a Women's March targeting President Donald Trump that she's "thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House."

I'm thinking Jesus would tell her a woman shouldn't be opening her legs for random guys.

He would, as well as suggesting you cannot choose what happens to the body of a baby.

Nothing she would say to the pope would surprise me.

Having said that, nothing this pope says surprises me anymore, either.

My wife and I saw her live at the Billboard Music Awards in May and she looked like Granny Clampett out there dancing a jig. It was pathetic.

And the first thing out of the Pope's mouth would be "what does this have to do with climate change?"

Jesus told sinners to repent and to trust in Him for salvation. He does not value human choice to sin above obedience to God.

and the pope's reply should be: yes he would, and they already do, but dont you think he would say tearing the limbs off of a living baby in order to kill it is the epitome of an evil unholy act?

but this pope holds no beliefs in line with the teachings of the bible so it would not shock me in the least if he might be in favor of allowing infanticide

That's pretty much the exact opposite of what Jesus would think, particularly when referring to killing a child.

How warped in the head does a person need to be to think this?

People just don't want to be told what to do. That is the bottom line

Wow, how delusional is she? That's the exact opposite of everything Jesus taught.

And if the Almighty Himself were also in attendance.....

...He'd probably knock their heads together.

No. The bottom line is that people want to relieve themselves from any and all accountability for their actions and the consequences that could result therefrom. Becoming pregnant doesn't just randomly "happen". And there are means, in addition to celibacy, that can be taken on the front end to prevent it from happening.

While there are certainly rare exceptions to the general rule, supporters of abortion are those who want to frick indiscriminately and not have to worry about the "consequences" until the back end. And I say that as someone who probably leans more pro-choice

It's almost as though these people have never read a bible, because they don't have a clue about biblical holiness or the righteousness of God.
