Absolutely agreed. We will see just how committed the French government is towards ending the protests. If they just simply arrest some of the participants (as they certainly cannot hold all of them), and give them just a few days of jail-time, then we are about to see some real, real unrest.

What? The French are fricking hardcore when it comes to this shite. Hell, the yellow vest thing has been going strong for fricking WEEKS. If he starts arresting people by the thousands, he's gonna end up headless.

I heard it was just for the champs elysees, arc de triumph, and the areas near the luxury shops so the rich people's stuff doesn't get burned.

There really seems to be a lot of people frustrated with their governments who attempt to regain some level of control over their lives and independence to make their own choices, with said governments telling them to frick off.

I may be wrong but I just don’t see the French rising up in revolt Bastille style. I see them going the way of the Catalans.

This was on radio so I may have missed that part, I can’t be sure. It seems like a measured move to ban the protests at key places to limit their visibility so this may be the case.
