Serious question, why do you think it is Republicans have latched onto relaxing FDA standards to get drugs to market, refusing to let medicare negotiate drug prices but codifying into law that pharm companies can essentially name their price to Medicare in the Part D bill, have no interest in reforming patent laws, and when push came to shove recently, most refused to allow drugs to be bought from Canada?
