They should declare Islam to be a violent terrorist ideology and not a religion.

I can choose not to pray if that is what I wish. I can choose not to read the ten commandments if that is what I wish. I cannot choose not to hear a blaring over loudspeakers, 5 times a day, call to prayer if I'm near enough to one.

You’re the problem. There is no difference in calls to prayer and 10 commandment monuments. Because of YOU, the call to prayer will be allowed by the government.

Well it is an imposition of others’ religion on the public….should not be allowed in USA….
TBH when traveling in the Middle East it seemed intrusive on the local population.
Nowadays everyone has a watch or a phone so you don’t really need to remind people about what time it is…….

I don’t agree with it, but this is a GREAT example of why we need to stop the stupid religious pushes like 10 commandments in the courthouse and prayer in school.
We have freedom of religion. The government cannot stop you from practicing your religion.
This doesn’t mean the government should display commandments or have organized prayers in school. Now this doesn’t mean YOU cannot pray in school on your own. For those of you who believe we should, then how in the hell can you be against a call to prayer????

Because one promotes love and charity, the other promotes death and rape.
People need to stop pretending that Christianity and Islam are equally virtuous. We shouldn't allow any ideology that wants to destroy the foundations of this country even if it is disguised as a religion.
Stop letting people use our freedoms against us. If your "religion" is not aligned with the ideals that built this country, then GTFO.
This country is for moral people. Those who will murder their own 13-year-old daughter or sister for not wanting to marry a 50-year-old man are not moral. People who throw acid in women's faces for not covering their hair do not belong in a country based on freedom and traditional values.
We have to stop being so principled that we invite our demise. Suicidal principlism is no less suicidal than suicidal empathy.
