If you could choose between having no more police killings of Blacks or just a 10% reduction in the rate of Black on Black murders, which would you choose?

Now, which do you spend most of your time talking about?

Or it could be about identifying Selective Outrage. These nine are a sign of “ systemic racism “ that should result in “ defunding the police “ and these 5000 don’t even merit serious discussion or reflection . That’s unusual.

No more police killings. It’s not their job to play judge, jury, and executioner.

You’re being naive if you think we’re gonna have a country with 15,000 murders a year without a cop ever having to kill someone. I mean you guys are just gonna have to grow up at some point. Your problem is you excuse criminals and pass the blame into the cops. You’re skipping the root cause and blaming a symptom. Did you know a cop is 18x more likely to be shot by a black man than vice versa? Did you know that cops shoot white people at 1.4 to 1.5 times more than black people? Did you know that most black shooting victims from police are shot by black cops?

But there are 330 million Americans. To set the bar at “ no more police killings” is literally impossible. So you are really making a Utopian statement, not anything that has to do with actually improving LEO.

So, you're not actually into saving more Black lives.

Got it.

You do know that not all killings are murders right? I mean you do know that?

Wrong.

I'm for ending the war on drugs, for massively reducing the laws on the books, for getting rid of immunity, and for having private police.

I actually want to see Blacks do better in society. You want to ignore all the underlying problems that are leading the the kinds of disparities we see.

No more police killings, then what? Are the shitty schools Blacks get forced into going to improve? Are the insane single motherhood rates going to improve? Are the obesity rates going to drop?

You guys are being used as Useful Idiots. Wake up.

As long as police unions exist to protect their “bad apples” there’s probably some truth to that.

Good for them.

I do not think anyone is against some common sense police and criminal justice reforms.

Many people are against things like kneeling during the National Anthem. Even though we can disagree on things. We should all be proud Americans.

At the same time communities have to look within themselves to find common sense solutions to their own community problems. As much as the criminal justice system can make common sense reforms to help, communities can advance communitiy, family and cultural changes to help grow family wealth in their communities and build brighter futures for future generations.

Isn’t that the whole point of “defund the police”? To reduce their funding to buy military toys in order to reroute that money to go towards social programs for the better of those communities?

You can’t even follow thru on a good point man. You’re right bout the unions and the arbitrators in police discipline cases but it has nothing to do with the fact that most police shooting are clean. Again there’s overwhelming and irrefutable bipartisan days on this so stop parroting radical talking points.

I have yet to hear a single person defend cops who murder. I just see people looking beyond the hyperbole and putting the actual numbers in perspective so that we can have an idea of how common they actually are.

Nobody wants defunding the police dude. It’s a topic that polls in the teens among black communities. It’s a radical dog whistle, nobody is for it.

Throwing more money at the problems aren't going to solve a damn thing. How much more proof do you need?

But, the idea of getting them to demilitarize is one good direction.

My larger point is that shrinking the police force is PEANUTS compared to the actual problems in the "Black community".

Yet, there are no riots, no protests, no virtue signaling from the same crowd about the much, much larger problems facing Blacks.

So why does asking for peanuts get you so bent out of shape?

It’s this attitude of “how dare they ask for us to solve this minute problem when their house isn’t in order” that has put us all in an impasse.

Why would people against school choice want money for education? It’s not going to education, it’ll go to social programs designed to indoctrinate kids politically while in school. Recruiting installations not education is what they’re talking about.
