Bazayev said she was concerned because the vaccination rate among LSU students is 26% right now (73% of the faculty and 56% of the staff have been vaccinated, Galligan said). Bazayev said having in-person classes at this rate will be a “superspreader” of the virus, and LSU should follow the lead of over 500 other universities and mandate the vaccine.

There is very little threat to people that young. If I were 20 years old, I wouldn't take the vaccine unless I had serious comorbidities vulnerable to covid.

How do such incompetent people get in positions of power? Do these complete morons not realize that most of the students likely have natural immunity through infection. Covid is almost not noticeable for college kids because most of them just get the sniffles from it. The vaccine is pointless for college students.
