At least these people were given some due process it sounds like. Now wether or not the judges decision is legal is a while other story but this action at least checks one constitutional box.

Yeah, I agree, well, kind of... no I don't think people should quarantined by a flu+ bug anymore than the flu. However, if a local government determines otherwise they do have the power of quarantine or could.
With that said, they need to actually make sense, meaning you can't tell Joe Sixpack to sit in his house, while at the same time the local hospital is not under quarantine nor the staff.
Furthermore, the State/Local government should be on the hook for costs as well... or housing me and feed me, if I don't want to foot the bill. The problem is... they want their cake and eat it too, which is why they are coming up with this nonsense self-quarantine or isolation.
The problem is, they are really not quarantining nor are they footing the costs, and resources for which they want to order.
They generally should have facilities for the people they want in quarantine.

I was working in the yard Saturday morning. Tons of people were out walking and what not. I'm pretty sure some of them stopped and talked to each other... and... get this... met in the middle of the street. Not good social distancing practices. I think I'll call Germantown Police and see if they'll get right on it. This can't be tolerated.
Also... went to Corky's out in Collierville the other night. Took about 45 minutes to get through the drive through.

So, are the families of Dr's and nurses being done the same way? Are they restricted from movement?
