You need to get the original decision and read it. It wasn’t so much about taking as it was about N O getting at the time. Seems to be the democrat way though, you want special treatment across the board. DEI, special LGBTQ education and laws, Muslim allowances in public square while actively fighting against other religions public square measures and many others. If you are so worried about the ruling maybe seek out as AG did.

There is an assumption that Moon was negotiating in good faith for the benefit of New Orleans. Moon (and the rest of the Landrieu family) made decisions that benefited their own political expediency. If the city or the state benefited that was coincidence.
