Isn't Trump giving Teachers *Not administrators a raise with the money they took away from the Dept. of Education? Pretty sure he said he was going to be sending the money to the States.

Pretty much this. Abolishing the Department of Education became a rally cry for many - but a primary objective of the Dept of Education was oversight of federal education money….so who is overseeing the money now and how is that better than the system that existed before? What happened to block grants to the states?
