Now that your Bolshevik governor (twice elected I might add) has given you a cultural Marxist as LSU's president is it safe to say that Louisiana is trending blue?
Better not let that Prez know that the "Fighting Tigers" mascot originated from a brigade in the Confederate Army. You will soon be known as the "Fighting Pelicans". The University of Missouri is going to be known as a right wing bastion compared to what is going to happen at LSU.

Sad..So Sad.

And the Athletic Department is in lock step with the Marxist President.

The admissions and registrars office at Louisiana Tech and Louisiana Lafayette better staff up - those two schools about to be flooded with admission requests.

No.

We voted for Trump in a landslide and Bill Cassidy ( ) in a landslide as well.

For federal elections, It will remain safe RED for the foreseeable future.

State politics is much more tricky and we have a lot of RINOs in state government and they are people who used to be democrats and only changed to republican so they can protect their political career.

JBE will be gone in 2023 and the GOP should have a much easier time electing a conservative but never ever underestimate the ability of morons in this state to frick it up all over again.

Also, we have a republican legislature but we don't have a republican speaker because our current speaker owes his appointment to making a deal with JBE for democrat voters along with enough RINOs.

Louisiana has been a socialist state since Huey Long. We vote republican at the national level because our citizens are pro-life, pro gun, and want to keep the federal government out of our good ol' boy socialism.

The only statue I want to blow up is this....

I would make it a bullet point on my platform for Governor.

There’s almost a super majority in our state legislature for Republicans

No it is not trending blue you dumbass

I'm not trying to be Capt Obvious here but you do realize that our state elected JBE 2 times. I agree we are a Red state but think about it. We have problems winning our battles.

They already are. In state applications to LSU are down again this year. Meanwhile, out of state applications are up significantly.

The only kind of Dems that Louisiana will ever elect as governor, are ones like JBE. They’re the old school democrat. Louisiana politics is a whole lot different than national politics. Louisiana will always be red in presidential elections because majority of people are conservative, and two, democratic candidates for President will not have the same values as JBE type of democrats. They will be more progressive, and even a lot of Louisiana democrats don’t like super progressives.

what scares me is that the leftist filth likes to play the long game.

if they brainwash the LSU students, then in a generation those people will make the state into some leftist hellhole.

frick off marxists and leave Louisiana to be itself.

but you know marxists are possessed by some spirit which drives them to destroy everything they touch

Bout to see a bunch more Louisiana students going to Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, schools in Texas... Go woke, go broke. Which then means, the populist, socialist state government lackeys will come after us for more tax dollars to fund their struggling br(w)oke flagship university.

Send your unwoke to Arkansas. We may have the Waltons trying this crap but I don't think our Board will put up with this nonsense. Jimmy Dykes was the only basketball coach that caved to the kneeling and he was gone at the end of the year. Our fans won't put up with it.

I'm ready to go full retard. Let's burn the whole thing down so we can start over in a sane manner.

People in La love voting republican in big elections, but also love a good program. We have always been socialists when it comes to our state funded programs.
