Louisiana Governor, AG Model Fight Against Lawfare After Bogus New Orleans Indictment

I didn't think you could elect someone dumber than Teedy or more slimy than EWE. But you did.That team in city hall has bitten the hand of one of the people in Baton Rouge who tried to support them.
What were they trying to accomplish by that grand jury ploy? I can't figure it out.

The complete ineptitude and total miscalculation by Moreno, the judge, the attorney, and NO city council is hilarious.
They really thought that they were in a position of strength when doing this. And for one of the most inconsequential issues, merging of court judges, and for what? It really will be fun to watch this unfold. These idiots unzipped their fly and now you have the AG, the Governor (who is close friends with Trump) and more than likely the FBI about to crawl inside the city of New Orleans.
This will end up being a good thing for the city, because the corruption will get weeded out. But, unfortunately, the people there will still vote in the same morons they always have been.
Unless.... the real motive was the radical Democrat marxists wanted to get rid of Moreno, so they can install their new socialist democrat mayor??? This may be the true intent.

Moreno is good friends with JP Morrell. Judgement isn’t her strong suit.

I just read up on the top Democrat Socialist candidates, and Pastor Greg Manning lost outright to JP Morrell for city council. He's received 23% of the vote, which is the largest vote total for DSA candidates so far. Maybe this is a way to get Moreno out, and prop up their preferred socialist.
It also appears that New Orleans has elected 1 socialist so far. Gabriella Biro was elected to the Orleans Parish School Board (says a lot) in 2024.

The mayor certainly seems to have gotten such bad advice that if an attorney was involved in the advice-giving, then it seems like it must have been intentionally bad advice.
Not sure I would blame Marxists, (tho they surely deserve any thrown their way), instead I wonder if the same self interest groups that constantly undermined and exploited Ray Nagin's own weaknesses are at work here?
(IMHO Moreno is, sadly for what's left of New Orleans, far more arrogant and clueless than Nagin about who her real political enemies are.)
