Transcript:

Dobbs: The rebuttal last night, I think that was a great insult to President Trump. Not mentioning his name when Sara Huckabee Sanders went to Iraq with the president and the First Lady in the middle of the night for Christmas to visit our troops...to not mention his name, to talk about new leadership, it look like the Governors Association had written that speech and aligned themselves with Ron DeSantis. It was a shame. In other ways it was a terrific speech but in that way it was a lack of respect to, ah POTUS. Unacceptable and I would hope that there would be something to make it right.

Bannon: Listen, I was on the live chat last night as our team was running the live chat, I was saying say his name. Say his name. Look, without President Trump she does not exist politically. That speech, I thought the speech was terrible. It goes into all the woke-ism and that's all interesting, but you have to get to the heart of the matter. The heart of the matter is the debt ceiling, the CCP. If you are going to give a counter speech you got to talk about the important issues. Don't get me wrong the woke-ism is very important but it is not quit the heart of the matter right now. Right? It's not the heart of the matter. She did not address...and the reason is she is just not intellectually capable of going to the heart of the matter, right? Let's be blunt. Given the fact that Trump had made her...hang on...to go out of her way to not say his name then to tell the story about the trip to Iraq and not say his name is outrageous and you are right this was like written by Ron DeSantis and the entire RGA. Lou Dobbs...

Dobbs: It was a metaphor for what the donor class is trying to do to Donald Trump right now. That is, use his four years as president as a templet and model for a RINO presidency that they can control. The issues today are not much different than 2016 when President Trump was running and elected. They. Can't. Stand. It. That they can't control him. That he is in point of fact an America First patriot. He means it when he wants to make America great and he as proved, proven that he will deliver. He has implemented, executed and achieved as president of the United States. I think like no other in modern history. And the only crooks we have found in all those special counsels and impeachments as you well know...(laughing)...I mean Steve the only wrong doing was the Department of Justice, the FBI, FBI directors, FBI agents, the attorneys of the DOJ, intelligence community, but not one instance of wrong doing on the part of the man they were trying to bring down. And that is the essence of what the nation faces.

So I guess we can expect a Truth from DJT slamming Sarah.

"Such disloyalty from Sarah Shmuckabee Sanders to not mention me! She was a nobody before I hired her. People just called her "Mike's daughter". She would have done anything for my endorsement. She even got down on her knees. Sad!"

Maybe I’m missing something here but why should SHS use the time given to her for the SOTUA rebuttal to mention Trump, DeSantis or any other person by name except the president that she’s rebutting? Isn’t the point to express ideas that are rebuttals to current president’s and not have a campaign rally for another individual?

Nope.

He will ignore it or he will attack DeSantis for it if he can get an angle.

If Lou Dobbs and Steve Bannon can see the games begin played here certainly Trump can.

Why does this matter? Sounds a lot like "it's her turn!"

But Dobbs and Bannon are onto something, and it should give pause to Trump/only-Trumpers.

Did I miss something? She had a very fluffy story about him visiting the troops. They butthurt she didn't mention Trump's actual name or something?

Because she spent 5 minutes in the rebuttal telling an emotional and very patriotic story about her and President Trump with Melania visiting the troops on Christmas without saying his name. Do you think not saying the name "Trump" was unintentional?

These never Trump people are never going to see it because they don;t want to see it. They do not want Trump, they want the "norm" back.

Without Trump, the GOP is irrelevant. Look at the last 4-5 candidates. Mittens, McCain, Bush 1 and 2.

Name one that was worth a damn.

Give me mean tweets and go back to the policy of 2016-2019. I don’t want a nice guy running the country. I want someone with the balls to speak the truth and call the bullshite out.

You think Xi and Putin are nice guys?

I’m gonna be honest I was elbow deep in Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated episodes last night and didn’t watch neither the rebuttal nor SOTUA and couldn’t get the video to pull up so I was asking my question based on reading the transcript

Wokism and indoctrinating your children to accept ideologies that lead to suicide is far, far more important than CCP.

This entire take is undermined by the reality that Trump is chasing DeSantis on these issues that he's ignored.

Hopefully, someday you get your arms around the fact that many of the boogeymen "never-Trumpers" have voted for Trump, and will do so again if he's the nominee, and may even do so in the primary. And if you open your mind to that, it might help you realize how truly fricked your head is w/re Trump.

Thank you for setting that up so we can get the facts out.

That was well before DeSantis was the Gov.

As far as I've heard in a post-mortum interview or two following her time as press secretary, Sanders has been very loyal and positive about Trump. He was kind to her and supportive of her when the media filth attacked her personal appearance. And I think she genuinely admires him and feels loyal to him.

As for the speech, she gave a very glowing story about him. Not saying his name itself may have been a smart move, as it keeps the focus on Biden and his failures. shite it may have even been a bit of a literary device given the type of story she was conveying, who knows? Everyone knew who she was talking about.

The insecurity and paranoia among the Trump-Only-Forever crowd is amazing.
