Anecdotally, I don't personally know one conservative who would stay home and not vote for either of DeSantis or Trump in 2024.

Any Republican who votes for a Democrat over Donald Trump because they really wanted a different Republican is a complete moron. Hopefully they will realize that Trump is better than ANY Democrat out there.

Although I would prefer Trump NOT run this time, the Biden Admin has brought so many over to the GOP that the anti-Trumpers will make little to no difference as long as the ballot boxes can't be stuffed with mail-OUT ballots.

Trump 2024
Desantis 2028

That is a solid plan.

If he runs we will back him by the 10s of millions. If he stays home and Ron runs we will back him by the 10s of millions. There is no split unless they run against each other which has already been ruled out. The "good of the republican party" is bullshite as they have proven themselves weak when it mattered most. We're in a war and we cannot afford to lose. The midterms and 2024 will determine our future for the next generation at the very least.

Newflash....when all is said and done, you will see that they don't want Desantis in either.

We are playing the world series for all the marbles, and all we have in the bullpen are Trump and Desantis. We are fighting Marxism spreading across our country. Not sure you can "refuse" one candidate because of "stuff". The are all we have at this time and we need 8 years out of both of them to have a fighting chance of saving this country.

I simply don't see any decent candidates in the pipeline that will stand up to the Democrats and their marxist spread through our nation.

He'll be so villified and chastised by the media by the time the election rolls around RINOs and leftists will hate him just as much as Trump.
In 2000, the MSM screamed about the GOP not nominating McCain, the great and wonderful "Maverick". But 'W' was elected ... twice. When McCain was actually nominated in 2008, it turns out he was excoriated by the press ... just like 'W'. Go figure!

No it isn't. It needs to be DeSantis now.

DeSantis can win. Trump maybe not.

He needs to bow out for the good of America. He’s already fricked it up enough.

Desantis is MAGA. You aren't. So, who is your candidate?

I think most of those you support will end up being excommunicated from the party within the next 2.5 years.

Of course, this is the case. The OP is clearly just trying to make a case against Trump. Desantis is the ONLY other viable candidate. And, no reasonable Desantis voter is going to no vote for Trump, nor vice versa.

The only voters in question are those that support Liz Cheney and Romney. Those people aren't really Republicans.

DeSantis is the better choice for the good of the entire country.

Inflammatory douche is not something we need 4 years of. It hastens the natural swing of the pendulum and lands us exactly where we are right now.

What a tool. A Republican Party that doesn't want Trump running is not a party I want. GTFO with that shite.

Which means the Dims will win again.

Loser. Republicans tried the "moderate" approach for decades and did nothing but lose elections and pizz off their base.
