Kemp only won by 55,000 votes. Is Georgia seriously that close to turning blue? I remember in the 2016 election thinking how weird it was that Florida was called for Trump before Georgia was.

Kemp was viewed as a dolt (especially as Secretary of State) and a lot of outside money poured in to support Abrams.

Not with trump on the ticket but Georgia is purple.

Kemp, the Kemp before he became somewhat of a good household name, wasn’t really liked in his previous role.

Atlanta is super super blue but growing just like nashville and Charlotte which is single handedly turning it purple/blue.

DeSantis also barely won in Florida.

Now both of these governors have like 60% approval and have been great GOP leaders. It’s quite the turnaround honestly.

Both will easily win re-election barring some scandal.

Trump will win Georgia by 5 points again. Even with a black VP. If Bottoms is VP he wins by 2-3.

His tenure as Secretary of State a few years ago turned off more people from voting GOP than usual.

Florida is more Republican than people give it credit for. It’s a close state but the GOP usually comes out on top. Florida has two GOP US Senators. A Democrat hasn’t won a Gubernatorial election in Florida since 1994. The GOP Presidential candidate won Florida in 2000, 2004, and 2016. Even when Obama won Florida in 2008 and 2012 it was his among his closest state wins. 2.88% in the 2008 blowout win and only 0.88% in 2012.

Dude every piece of leftist fat lipped filth are now moving into that city called thrasherville. Even the blue-Jews in Briarwood and Dunwoody are getting freaked out.

Georgia will fall prey to the unwashed mob, parts will resist and become isolated but unless something an intangible possibly plays its hand the mindless orbs like Abrams will eventually cancel the good out.

And unlike Texas and Georgia, Florida is turning more red. DeSantis is now one of the more popular governors in the US after barely winning against a guy that has since completely imploded.

He had an ad where he pulls up in his F250 and says he wants to round up illegals. Another ad where he has a shotgun and is grilling the daughters boyfriend

I was in central Florida a month ago and saw a ton of Trump signs/flags. Pretty shocking, I thought once you turned south it became very blue.

Augusta and Macon too.

Gwinnett went blue and so did Cobb. Both were GOP strongholds.
