Nyc, for the most part (on a large scale).. is a melting pot.

The UK has a pretty bad violent crime problem. It's not all immigrants, there are some really trashy white folks who live there.

They passed the assault steak knife ban. Apparently, it was limited in verbiage and the mass murder weapon, i.e. the butter knife, was not properly regulated.
A march recently with lots of hormonal teenagers seeks to add the mass murder butter knife to the list of prohibited murder weapons.

2. 12 killings in 19 days is an outlier. Let's take a look at the end of the year and see how they compare.

Truth.
They get all wound up about mass shootings but on the scale of mathematical objectivity the gun deaths from one month in Chicago exceeds any one mass shooting.
If you really want to get the numbers down you should start with what is generating the most numbers.
But it's not about getting the murder numbers down, its about attacking the culture of rugged individualism and self reliance in the hope of creating more government dependance.

Let me help you out with your false equivalence. The DTaP and Tdap vaccines don't eliminate all deaths but it sure as hell doesn't hurt.
The point being that changes in the way we do things will greatly reduce deaths.
