Interesting...for years we heard you and others scream to the high heaven how much Obama was wasting taxpayer dollars on his golf outings and vacations....Trump spends far more in far less time and you're good with it.

Hypocrisy much?

How come come coservatives don't care how much money this administration wastes? I suggest it's because, in this current climate, they can only see things as "us versus "them".

This is absolutely true, but it is a byproduct of a larger systemic issue in modern American politics. Ratification of our democratic system has limited our individual decision-making to the point where some don't even believe our predetermined political choice is a free one. And they're right.

The difference for me is Obama was doing that and made no efforts to save taxpayers any money which made him the most fiscally irresponsible president ever. I will deal with Trump's so called "vacations" if he continues to slash budgets, kill redundant federal jobs, etc that all save way more than he could ever spend golfing.

No hypocrisy in that.

Frivolous PR stunts is wasting money. Just because another guy did it, too, doesn't excuse someone else doing it. It's a dumb thread.

Obama made dumb threads on the internet, too, though.

Well when you said $150 billion cut in the proposed budget, I thought you literally meant $150 billion in the next budget, not the 10 year projection of proposed cuts. Then again one of your links (that you edited out) was about a $150 billion allocation or something in 2015 so I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to here.

There was a time and place for every system you see as "bullshite". Getting it back to the original state is one thing, saying "frick everyone who needs it", which has become a battle cry of uneducated people such as yourself, is another.

Meanwhile, Trump is off to golf...the 71st time he is visiting one of his properties since taking office.

Long gone are all the people on this forum who liked to complain every time past administrations hit the links.

I do so love hypocrisy in the morning.

And since it was against the San Francisco 49ers, the team with players who started this protesting, and 1 of only 4 teams that had a player (Eric Reid) who had continued to protest through the first 2 weeks, then it was basically a foregone conclusion that there would be protesting.

Since he had to take to twitter to tell us about his $242,500 response, that he knew was going to happen, why didn't he just well us that he refused to attend knowing the response would occur and also saved the $242,500 in the process?

Pence probably wanted to give the 49ers' players an opportunity to decide not to protest at the game so he didn't automatically conclude that it was a forgone conclusion the 49ers were going to protest.

The 49ers' players chose to protest anyway right in VP Pence's face so he did the right thing and walked out on them to counter protest what they did.
