Local police threatening business without vaccinations

My BIL owns a business specializing in outdoor dozier work in a rural area north of Baton Rouge. Several town police officers stopped by his shop this morning and asked if everyone who works for him has been vaccinated. He told them he did not know everyone’s status, and the police told him if everyone is not vaccinated soon, there would be repercussions (police used this specific term). Perhaps this is something local, but I am alarmed to say the least. Any doubt that the police won’t come for firearms someday has been totally erased.

When local yokels are using “repercussions” in that sense, that tends to be a time when they start hiding bodies with the construction jobs they work.

I doubt most cops get paid enough to want to GAF about vaccinations.... even if they had the authority to enforce anything.

I find this very difficult to believe.
Regardless, any cop has to leave your property at your request unless they have a warrant or are in the act of detaining you.

Tell him to institute a don't ask don't tell policy at his business. Then when they come back and ask him, he can legit say "I'm not aware of any employees that have not been vaccinated."
