McCarthy is sharpening the axe.
“ "I think she's got real problems," McCarthy was reportedly heard saying to host Steve Doocy. "I've had it with, ... I've had it with her. You know, I've lost confidence."
It’s Trump’s GOP, and we’re all here for it. Enjoy this folks. We’re not even halfway through Trump’s 12 year reign of the Republican Party.

Liz Cheney's anti Trump stance isn't the problem here. Everyone knows she was and still is anti Trump and no one cares.
The problem here is that as a member of the House leadership team for the GOP, she won't shut the frick up about Donald Trump and will not stop litigating against and antagonizing Trump and his supporters. And by doing that, she's undermining house leadership and putting them in a very difficult spot and making the entire GOP caucus lose confidence in her spot on the leadership team.
Furthermore, Kevin McCarthy put his neck on the line to save her spot in the vote back in february and Liz is repaying that by repeatedly shivving and stabbing McCarthy in the back.
If she insists on peddling her anti Trump screeches, she needs to do that from the back benches for however long she is a member of Congress and not have any role in leadership decisions for the House GOP.
Get the frick out Liz Cheney.

McCarthy dislikes Trump as much as Cheney does but he's so close to the Speakership he can taste it.
