If he is as smart as everyone says he is then this would prove it.

If he runs now...not so much.

99% of this event could have been done through a press release.

And who would have covered it?

I'll vote for either one of them. I personally think Ron has a better chance, mostly because over 1/3 of voters are not party affiliated and vote for a person, something LA republicans don't seem to get.

But if it's Trump, I'll go hard for Trump. I'm sick of clown world and being treated like livestock by elitist liberal social engineering ghouls.

Whoever it is, we have to back him. Suck it up.

Probably a lot of Trump people say the same about DeSantis.

Democrats NEVER do this.

We have probably already lost 2024.

This is the problem with too many on the right.

I am all in on DeSantis, assuming he runs, but if it ends up where Trump is on the ballot in the general I am 100% voting for him.

The left cannot continue in power.

Trump did put it in writing on his form today so that should settle it.

I will vote DeSantis in the primary and then third party in the general if somehow Trump were to win the GOP nomination. If I lived in a swing state, I would hold my nose and vote for Trump over a Democrat though, but thank God I live in a solid red state.

I'd be curious to see how the people who have been saying the military are in control will try to frame this to keep their con going

To the Trumpers: Explain to the class why Trump is going to be different with a second term

Here is a reasonable answer. Should Trump win, he's in his last term. He doesn't have to give a frick about being re-elected. He can go scorched earth on the administrative state and the GOPe. There's no concern about being re-elected.

That's what I want.

I didn't get to listen to his speech. It sounds like this wasn't his message. To me, that's disappointing.

How is that wall that Mexico paid for coming along? Or the repeal and replace ACA? Or draining the swamp? Or hiring the best people?

What kind of moron looks at what's going on at our border right now and doesn't conclude that Trump was 100% on the mark about needing a wall?

This is actually encouraging. You know he’s knives out for the establishment but is focusing on what he can do for the people.

Trust me…he’s going after them if he gets in but isn’t calling his shot. That’s smart….even though they know it.
