The lawyer opposing the ban is very very good. Not sure how it will turn out.

I don't want to hear one democrat ever complain again about wasting taxpayers dollars.
No reason AT ALL this should be heard. The law is quite clear and the court is just playing politics.

I don't understand why Trump didn't request an expedited appeal by the SCOTUS, they could have taken this case right out of the 9th.....

The reason my friend is because since we aren't politicians we can discuss things honestly here.
1. We both know that the 9th will rule against the USG here
2. We both know that that ruling is completely political and that this travel ban is WELL within the authority of the POTUS
3. We both know that SCOTUS will eventually rule that yes this President has the authority to curtail immigration just the same as every President before him.
So why bother with this farce of a hearing today?

I wonder if he is in a chair. I see there is a rest there for his head. That being said, he is still competent, as competent as a 9th circuit judge can be at least.
