It’s because the attorney is trying to listen to the hearing while speaking through a mic that is picking up the audio from his speakers causing a feedback loop.

Assuming he is going to deny the motion, I wonder if this judge has the balls to rule from the bench or will he take it "under advisement" and issue a written ruling at a later date.
