Thanks. Is it me or did Judge Sullivan say basically he doesn't want to hear anything it is all crystal clear BUT he goes on to verbatim quote his lawyers opinion (Gleeson) regarding essentially political pressure from Trump.
Who does this Judge think he is dismissing the govt or Powell's concerns but reading verbatim his lawyers convoluted BS?
I will await a lawyer but this is what it sounds like?

I did not hear the first part of the Judges speech, so take this with a grain of salt.
It sounds like the judge is trying to build a record to support his decision to deny the motion, knowing that it will be appealed.

I believe there are 2 lawyers there repping the govt/ DOJ. It will be on them to end this fricking judge going on & on reading HIS lawyers BS.

Why didn't he just say I admit MY LAWYERS entry into the record instead of reading it?

Assuming the motion is appealed, Sullivan will not be a party, so Gleeson could, at best, would file an amicus brief and will not be allowed to participate in Oral arguments.
Therefore, to get gleeson brief before the court of appeal he will read it into the trial transcript of the hearing. particularly those parts that he believes would be persuasive to get his decision affirmed
