Exactly. Vance is the best insurance policy that Trump has for not getting JFKed again. If Trump would've picked Rubio or Haley or Scott or even Youngkin, Trump wouldn't make it out of his 1st month in office. But Vance might be even more of a populist than Trump, and the establishment definitely doesn't want him as Commander in Chief.
