Carl Tuckerson is not REMOTELY libertarian. I mean, not one teeny, tiny smidgeon.

I've known people IRL who claimed they were Libertarian/Marxists.

To be fair, their political end goals are the same - anarchy.

The founders were definitely libertarian leaning in their unique distrust of govt. and collectivism.
Classic Lilberalism is definitely NOT libertarianism, but it IS a first cousin.

Libertarians do not support classifying undocumented immigrants as criminals. Our current immigration system is an embarrassment. People who would like to follow the legal procedures are unable to because these procedures are so complex and expensive and lengthy. If Americans want immigrants to enter through legal channels, we need to make those channels fair, reasonable, and accessible.

Straight from the Libertarian Party website .
Someone seems to be assuming that the LPA will always be consistent with libertarian ideology. That premise fails almost as often as consistency within the Dem Party or the GOP.

Bread and Circus.

Problems with open borders.

Resident owner-taxpayers are harmed twice once by indiscriminatingly including some classes of immigrants even if they can’t pay up, and on the other hand by indiscriminatingly excluding other classes of immigrants even if they can.

Well, that one went RIGHT over your head.

His (obvious) point was that there is very little uniform interpretation of the NAP.

The Libertarian Party is a joke.

Libertarian does not equal libertarian.
There is a reason that the libertarian wing of the GOP has millions more members than does the LPA.

Why do you think libertarians worship corporations?
Depends upon how tightly one parses the definitions.

If you cross the border into anarcho-capitalism, I think that this is a valid observation, and it is reasonably-fair to describe anaorcho-capitalism as a branch of broadly-defined libertarianism.

You're not reading my posts. LP is a lost cause. Has been since Browne died. Want to try again?
Why would I want to be a part of political party that openly condones breaking our rules ?
You seem to be having great difficulty distinguishing between a political philosophy and a political party.

So, all the Libertarians I know support shutting down the welfare state (free education, assisted housing, food stamps, emergency healthcare requirement, etc, etc) while making it easier for people to come here and work/pay taxes.
So, stated more clearly, Libertarians support the democrat agenda of open borders, making it easier for criminal aliens to come here and stay here, while paying lip service to the conservative agenda of having a physical barrier between the citizens and the foreign invaders.
I find myself wondering whether you even realize that you misstated absolutely everything that he said in the post to which you replied.

This is what happens when you have no political philosophy.

There is nothing that Trump has done that is inconsistent with libertarian philosophy.

EO-ing the ban on bump stocks isn't very libertarian
Trump has done hundreds of things that are not libertarian, but I think the poster was referencing specifically as related to the current Iran situation.

Yeah, no dude. You just made that up in your head. Zach literally does not know what the NAP is. This isn't he first topic we've had on this with Zach
I have had numerous discussions with Zach, and I assure you that he understands the NAP. He was fricking with that poster.

We were provoked. I have no problem with responding. I don't know if the level of response was appropriate or not, mainly because there's a lot of information I don't know.
