High crime rate is an emergency.
Why doesnt it seem sustainable or healthy if its never been tried
They should have started with Chicago/NYC for the holidays

Militarizing everyday life in the name of safety is about as unAmerican as it gets.
The reason for the military in the streets is because city fathers (mothers, aunties, etc.) are unwilling to make the hard choices necessary for the safety of its citizens and get all squeemish if Joe and John Sixpack start shouldering shotguns on Canal Street.

Why would NG Guards in Major cities bother anyone
Did you read any of my posts in this thread? I cannot get any more explicit than that.

You libtards are so dramatic, military escorts
You’re offended that the army isn’t standing outside your front door to protect you from some unknown potential threat posed by an anonymous American while calling me dramatic. I just had to point that out. Zero self-awareness.

So THIS is what we are calling potential crime in high crime areas now...

It certainly can.
It's the first step in the old "identify the problem, then fix it" formula.

Conservatives: have the US military occupy every US city in the name of safety
I don’t think less protection from crime will solve anything.

What do you call nonexistent crime (because it hasn’t been committed)? A fantasy?

We need to identify the causes of poverty, guns and humans to solve crime.

Unknown potential threat = fatherless urban black male criminal - age 13-26-with a gun and no conscience. Children understand this. You understand this but you have convinced yourself it’s wrong to say it. We see LeAndre and JaWashington and you see “ unknown potential threat”. It’s not a meteor strike or an errant missile, it’s violent criminals.

Identify the causes of guns?
The old "guns cause crime" thing. Guns in no way cause crimes. Criminals cause crimes. Keep the criminals off the street... if you are a career criminal... you've proven that you cannot exist among civilized society and therefore have forfeited your right to live among civilized society.

When the National Guard occupied New Orleans post Katrina, it was the safest the city had even been in my lifetime. What's wrong with that?
Crime significantly increased in New Orleans following Katrina. What specific dates are you referring to, when the city was the safest it had ever been during i your lifetime? Crime didn’t return to pre-storm levels until December 2007.

Ok. You want the military to protect you from black kids.

The modern American left is insane and illogical. There’s no use trying to persuade them.

No, I want black kids to be safe from black criminals. If a city is spiraling with violent crime, and the police are unable to ensure basic safety for the citizenry, it makes sense to flood the zone with deterrent measures. It makes sense that the most obvious and affordable way to do that is the Guard.

Not all black kids. Just the ones committing the crimes.
