There are plenty of fringe people on the right claiming this was caused by engineered weather and was an act of war. It would be intellectually dishonest to conflate that with “the Right’s stance on the flooding”, tho. I’m just tired of political influencers cherry-picking rage bait from either side and further dividing Americans, especially in times when we should be banding together.

No one 'celebrated' that, but also, you're intentionally ignoring the fact that CA state & local policies resulted in NO WATER IN THE HYDRANTS!!
FFS, how do you equate a FLASH FLOOD which was pre-warned and alerted to as soon as conditions were present that made it a known risk, alerts went out.
TX locals and NOAA did their job, unlike uncaring Mayor Bass and Gov. Newsom.

I’m not ignoring that fact. The leftists, who are gloating about this unfortunate disaster, think it was caused by DOGE cuts. See? Each group of gloaters thought the other side got their comeuppance. Now compare that directly with the California fires. Where their own DEI lesbian fire chief admitted that she called out the mayor for their not being enough water in the hydrants. ( Because the hydrants were mostly dry.) And it caused her her job.
