Lib question: February Deficit 200+ Billion, What is NOT sacred for budget cuts?

We have a page full of all the doom and gloom of what programs Trumps budget would cut or eliminate.
So, what can go? Or do you just suggest we never worry about a budget?
Do you think we should just raise taxes by about 1 trillion?

Trumps budget doesnt even address the deficit.
he gives money to most wasteful department, the military, in the budget and takes money from the poor to then give tax breaks to the wealthy.
this budget is dead on arrival and Trump is a goddamn idiot.

Nothing has to "go" in the sense of being eliminated. My big complaint about the budget is just this arbitrary 20% cut. Why not actually take the time to learn about bloating and overspending in each dept. Then figure out a way to make it more efficient/cut spending rather than this lazy analysis on the best way to make budget cuts.

What? Can you send me the full proposal?
I was under the impression this was just the first step. Many other programs have not even been discussed yet

Febuary deficit 200 billion? What the hell are you talking about?
That would mean our annual deficit will be 2.4 trillion, around twice as bad as any of the Obama deficits.

Don't cut things that are .01% of the budget and then expand something that is a giant % of the budget and claim to give a rats arse about the deficit.
The military is WAY too big for the role it's supposed to have.

This is so much BS. The biggest part of his tax plan is increasing the standard deduction. This is good for the middle class because because they generally don't itemize. You know who does itemize? The rich and they get zero benefit from that.

Military spending?
Subsidies to very profitable corporations?
20% cut to all foreign nation aid (including Israel)?
Kill the war on drugs. How much money are we spending apprehending, trying, and imprisoning weed users/sellers?
The $25B wall, that Mexico will never pay for?

This is a LIE.
He reduces the free hand outs to the poor currently being taken by government force from those more wealthy.
To spin it without being a liar you could also say, by giving a tax break to middle income and upper income(those that actually pay federal income tax) it reduces the free handouts to the poor, that are currently being paid by those more affluent.

Prepare to be amazed and saddened by how many on this board agree with this idea.

Mexico has no choice. They will pay for it one way or another. I don't even agree with the wall and I can see this.

When will we see a budget that reduces the free hand outs to the super rich currently being taken by government force from those less wealthy?

Oh really???
it's in Trump's budget already.
We pay for it, then somehow he forces mexico to pay us back. What a solid business plan.

If it decreases the number of illegals crossing then it pays for itself, and actually reduces the tax burden on Citizens.
