Do people dislike Trump that much? Is it the just CONSTANT barrage from a dishonest and biased media that has just beat people down? Has Covid just destroyed his approval that much?

People have always disliked Trump. He was disliked greatly and won with razor thin margins in 3 states — WI, MI, PA, traditional blue states, mostly due to his unique appeal and Clinton’16 dropping the ball.

The media holds Trump accountable for EVERYTHING. I wish they were this critical of all candidates at all time, frankly.

Finally - his COVID response has been terrible. He said the virus would disappear in April, and he was sickened by it in October. That’s all we need to say on that.

The polls are correct. Trump needed to grow his base, expand his supporters and build a bigger coalition. He has done none of that while alienating moderates who switched from Obama to Trump.

IMO, he’s toast. Nothing can save him at this point.

I have a theory. Trump didn't actually want to win in 2016. It was more of an ego thing with him.

Fast forward to 2020. He's done. He wants out. He's old and tired and wants to go be happy without all the BS. His outrageous behavior, the tweets, the chaos that surrounds him is all his plan to get out. But the more bombastic and over-the-top he is the more his base loves it. He just can't shake them off.

"Divisive" for you clowns just means your candidate didn't win. Just because the right didn't act like drunken monkeys when Obama was elected doesn't mean the country was united. Trump is proof of that, mensa.

These retards don't realize Trump is president BECAUSE OF OBAMA.

That POS divided this country so much it can't be fixed.

And you are right , because we didn't act like dumbasses , they don't get it.

Do his policies and overall outlook on how this country is represented make the most sense? The answer is a gigantic YES, unless you're a fricking moron.

People can't seem to separate personality from policy.

Trump certainly rubs some people the wrong way personally, but his policies are mostly solid.

I didn't agree with hardly any of Obama's policies and hated them, but personally I could picture me hanging out with Barack and shooting the bull with him.

What do you make of such a terrible candidate like Biden, with a terrible agenda, who did no campaigning, who ran one of the worst campaigns of all time?

I've never seen the media so deep in the tank for a candidate before.

Burisma? No coverage.
Bribes? CNN viewers definitely don't know about it.
Tara Reade? Nada
Deteriorating Cognition? Zip
The 7 women that accused Biden of inappropriate behavior? Crickets.
Lack of a Platform? Nothing
No effort to denounce the Arson and Riots from the far left? Who cares?
Lying about his background? No mention of it.
Antifa just an idea? No questions about it
Lid on campaign appearances almost daily? No one in the press seems to care.

Meanwhile....

It's the end of the fricking world if Trump doesn't wear a mask while alone on a balcony.

2016

More like 1980.

Biden has led by 7% - 9% since March. His lead is expanding right now.

2016? RCP had the race at 272 - 266 on the morning of the election. Trump was within MOE in MI & PA, and only Wisconsin was way off.

Trump won by ~80k votes. You think he’s more popular now than he was in ‘16?

Rasmussen, Trump’s best pollster, has Trump -9 in job approval. LINK

Holding accountable is one thing.

Spreading lies and false information is another entirely. That's where they are losing trust with the people, and it's why they don't have the power and influence they had just 10 years ago.

I will bet everyone of these people whining about Trump's personality don't pay Federal Income Taxes.

He put a lot of money back into the pockets of people who do pay Federal Income Taxes.

When you have no skin in the game you vote for personalty or more handouts.

These people are the vile filth of our society.

Its not. Your OP is a bit of a logical fallacy. We cant assume the polls are right, because we can see that the methodologies are clearly wrong. If not for the media and their polls, there would be nothing indicating a Trump loss. The only people telling you Trump is losing are the people that want him to lose and aren't afraid to lie to you to get there. Think about hat for a second.

Trump, as a complete political wild card, beat a stronger candidate in 2016. She was actively being assisted by several foreign interests as well as the US intelligence community and their media proxies. He still won.

Today, he is an incumbent with good approval numbers and a clear record to brag about. That alone, makes him almost unbeatable in the historical sense. He's facing a SIGNIFICANTLY weaker candidate now, who has NONE of the nefarious advantages Hillary had and virtually no enthusiasm behind his candidacy. Remember, not even the dems wanted Biden.

The pollsters usually tighten up as we approach the election to save credibility, but thats off. We saw with the ABC poll that they will oversample dems even more to create the impression that Biden is up huge. This gives them cover to contest the election if they lose. I really believe thats the play.

These polls are not correct... This is a strategy by the MSM to discourage MAGA voters.

So basically Trump's presidency is like Mel Brook's The Producers?

Interesting take.

These "polls" are near identical to 2016 and Trump won.

That's why you Liberals have been in a four year meltdown. You were convinced Clinton would win.

This meltdown will be even more fun.
