Yes, people hate Trump that much. They’re tired of his shite. I’ve voted either Republican or Libertarian since I was able to, but I’m also tired of it, and I’m not even a Trump hater.

He’s a polarizing figure. I’m surprised Republicans aren’t more tired of him than they are. It’s not just a question of “being right”... how you say things matters. Do you want to be right, or do you want to win? He can’t get his point across without being offensive. It was entertaining at first.

I don’t think a lot of posters here have ever lived outside of the Deep South. I can’t think of another public figure in the US who, outside of his supporters, is more hated than Trump is. I’m not saying it’s true, but I can’t think of anyone.

oh for fricks sake.

You people act like you live with the President. You aren't married to him. You don't raise children with him. You don't have to report to him at work on a daily basis.

Do his policies and overall outlook on how this country is represented make the most sense? The answer is a gigantic YES, unless you're a fricking moron.

But let's all just fade into economic and moral oblivion because you don't like his tone. Seriously, listen to yourselves. You're god damned idiots.

It’s because he’s running against a horrible candidate! Trump hasn’t done anything good for this country in 4 years. He has made it more divisive. Foreign policy is horrible, economic policy is horrible, environmental policies are horrible. He’s horrible and sick!

The problem is his actual Approval polls numbers don't match that. They are on par with Obama at various points, even ahead of where Obama was at the same point not that long ago.

538 composite approval for presidents at day 1356 of presidency:

Obama: 49.4%
Trump: 43.6%

I mean the polls are probably relatively correct. It will be a close race.

Is it really that hard to see why Trump is not liked by a lot of people? Especially those who vote just based off personality alone?

Just the surface level view of Trump puts him at a disadvantage. Loud mouth New Yorker. Weird fake tan. Hyper sensitive to any criticism. Always seems to be playing the victim. Questionable morals.

It worked in 2016 because it was new and refreshing to some. I think the Trump persona has worn on a lot of people. Then you add covid into the mix, makes it a tight race.

This is a bubble. Yard signs do not equal victory. I live outside the south and what you describe is true. The hate is real and people on this board will be shocked with what will happen.

I am happy though he is plowing forward with ACB so at least the court is ours.

Why is he hated? He wasn't hated before he ran for office. Is he hated because he disrupted DC's money grab and because of that, those in DC have projected their hate onto a large portion of the population? Trump fights because he is attacked.

"Divisive" for you clowns just means your candidate didn't win. Just because the right didn't act like drunken monkeys when Obama was elected doesn't mean the country was united. Trump is proof of that, mensa.

But he does it like a child sometimes. It does not sell well to the middle of the road voter. If he could tone it down this would be a cakewalk

Almost half the population doesn’t pay income tax. Half the people are below average and are jealous. The demos will inevitably vote themselves the treasury.”
