What kind of odds can we get on James Woods?

I am shocked that they would expose Weinstein before Schneider. Weinstein is pretty all encompassing, but Schneider is just a monster with kids in Viacom. If a woman under 60 has an Oscar, it's a 50/50 chance they fricked Weinstein to get it. Schneider isn't anywhere near his level politically, but is a far more vile figure in Hollywood.

If there were dirt on Woods it would have surfaced by now since he is off the plantation.

Bryan Singer, Dan Schneider, Kevin Spacey, Charlie Sheen, Robert DeNiro, Woody Allen, and others all open up that line of questioning in some form or fashion.

Schneider and Singer are as much "Open Secrets" as Harvey Weinstein, in that I know all of their scandals as someone who is an above average consumer of investigative journalism. Allen is even more out in the open.

I have never heard anything about De Niro though.

Elijah Wood certainly wasn't ever molested due to his (rightfully) hawkish parents and never letting him out of their sight on a set. He might be the biggest advocate for sex abuse victims who wasn't molested.

Yeah, I tried to work in [rimshot] some double entendres about that, but figured it would get lost with most of the Philistines here.

Yeah, I haven't either. I could possibly see him being a 70s victim of it, but I don't see him turning to the victimizer.

It's not an official rumor that I know of. I was speculating based on Sheen's accusation history (Haim).

I think you are trolling because he's a conservative and you aren't a big fan of conservatives.

However, if not, I'm in for $100 with you on Woods being next. Deal?

DeNiro was connected to a French prostitution ring in the late 90s from when he was filming Ronin. They supposedly would find underage girls, turn them out, and provide them to politicians and celebs.

a guy who would honestly shock me, and i'm surprised more idiots haven't named him, is michael bay

dude seems to have the "bang hookers and porn stars and leave your stars alone" thing down.

also while he may be sexist (and completely understands how to use women as an object on screen), for all the bad blood i don't think anyone has even hinted that he's ever been inappropriate with a female star. Megan Fox has the most public beef with him and this is about as bad as she got

quote:

“The first time I ever met him, I was 15 and I was an extra on Bad Boys II,” Fox told Jimmy Kimmel. “We were shooting this club scene, and they brought me in, and I was wearing a stars and stripes bikini and a red cowboy hat, and six-inch heels. And they took me to Mike and he approved it. And they said, ‘You know, Michael, she’s 15, so you can’t sit her at the bar and she can’t have a drink in her hand.’ So his solution to that problem was to then have me dancing underneath a waterfall getting soaking wet. And that’s… At 15. I was in 10th grade. So that’s sort of a microcosm of how Bay’s mind works.”

this is the "Michael Bay casting couch"

quote:

“I first met Michael back in 2009; it was on the set of the Christmas commercial for Victoria’s Secret. I remember the first thing Michael said to me— before he even introduced himself or asked me my name—was “Can you walk?” And I looked at him like, “What is this man talking about? Yeah, of course I can walk.” And then he proceeded to tell them to get me in the car, and then I was driven—I mean, honestly, I want to say it was about half a mile out in the desert. I kept thinking, “This is a joke, right?” And the car dumped me in the middle of the desert. All I was wearing was a bra and underwear and a big, billowing, black, floor-length cape and high heels. And he says, “OK, when we shout action, you’re going to walk!” and I assumed I would be doing this in several stages. They yelled action, and the car sped off back to set, and I just was like, “Well, what am I supposed to do?” So I walked all the way back to where the camera was standing, which took me—I would say a good 10, 12 minutes, and it was a proper runway stomp—on salt flats; it was like 100 degrees, felt like fire. I remember walking back and being not impressed by the whole thing. I was pretty pissed off afterwards; I just looked at Michael, and he goes, “I guess you can walk, then.”

He's a big Scorsese guy, and honestly both Spielberg and Scorsese have had pretty solid reputations, beyond Scorsese's heavy drug years.

The independent

quote:

The sex scandal that wouldn't lie down John Lichfield Sunday 15 November 1998 00:02 GMT

quote:

IT READS like the synopsis of a trashy airport novel: sex, movie stars, politicians, Arab princes, arms deals and the courageous investigation of an obstinate, incorruptible - and publicity-hungry - judge. But the evidence to be presented to a criminal court in Paris this week also has a disturbing side - or, rather, two disturbing sides.

The case uncovers the brutal methods used to snare young women - some as young as 15 - into a call-girl agency specialising in wealthy, high- profile clients. It also exposes attempts by the French government machine to block an investigation which might embarrass senior politicians and damage French interests abroad. Six people are charged with the running of an international prostitution ring, whose call-girls entertained the actor Robert de Niro, the former tennis player, Wojtek Fibak, two senior (but unnamed) French politicians and several Gulf princes. The agency specialised in tricking, or trapping, star-struck teenage girls into selling their bodies with the promise of careers as models or actresses.

At one point, according to the report of the investigating judge, the agency became a kind of approved dealer in girls, operating with the connivance, if not the blessing, of the French foreign ministry and French secret services. By steering Middle East arms clients towards girls from a known, and closely watched, agency, there was thought to be a reduced risk of blackmail, or the leaking of secret negotiations.

quote:

According to Judge N'Guyen's report, the photographer, Mr Bourgeois, hung about Parisian night clubs or casting agencies, scouting for possible victims. He picked on young women, often teenagers - mostly French, but also from Britain and eastern Europe - and invited them to his apartment in the respectable 17th arrondissement to take trial shots.

After gaining their confidence, the judge alleges, he persuaded them to pose for more revealing pictures. The girls were then convinced, if possible, that prostitution was the best way to get into modelling or movie careers. If they refused, they were blackmailed with the threat that the photographs would be sent to their families. In some cases, they were simply abducted. Several girls cited in the investigating judge's report accuse Mr Bourgeois of rape.

Blackmail is a recurring theme with this “behavior” that carries over to politics...
Pay attention to this as events play out

Like Tarantino, Michael Bay is way too close to the surface for me to even consider it. I'd have a hard time believing he'd cast couch Katara from the Last Airbender to be jailbait in his film. Michael Bay is just one of those sexually fricked up dudes that doesn't know what is appropriate. Real predators play it closer to the chest.

i honestly think this is going to leave very few producers clean. They will either be caught up in it, or have one of their directors/casting agents caught up.

Here's something about the de Niro thing that I googled after the post above. Doesn't sound like something that would ultimately bring De Niro down, but who knows.

I am actually shocked how the Spanish prostitution scandal with David de Gea, Isco, and Iker Munian (huge Spanish soccer stars) just died out as a story within days.
