All we care about is Covid insanity and keeping borders wide open.

I have a lot of criticisms of President Potato. Leaving Afghanistan isn’t one of them. We aren't starving those kids.

Almost two decade's of US occupation, thousands dead and even more physically & mentally scarred for life.

Their goverent allied with us was corrupt and it led to this failure. Trillions spent to build them up in infrastructure and military and they fall into famine 4 months after we leave?

Don't be a stupid frick and believe every article you read.

Only if they skip across the border. Then we set them up with free healthcare and homes. And dont forget that payout to each person for separation they tried to pass.

Dems only want to give money to potential future voters. Otherwise they dont give a shite about helping anyone.

80 billion dollars worth of the most advanced military tech and weaponry sitting in an armory ready to go, but me and my mates are going to defend our families by catching a ride to the USA by hanging onto the fuselage of a C-130.
We can’t save the world. It must save it’s self.

Wait a damn minute here. Now every baby that starves under Taliban rule is America’s fault? Sorry guys, y’all have gone full insane now.

This.

This thread has this board all over the place. It's either an OP troll that hit the mark and brought out others to troll, or this place has lost its damned mind. I don't want another American soldier to get sand in his eye in that hellhole, much less actually wounded.

That country is doomed. NOTHING can fix it.

That sounds terrible. Maybe next time a republican is elected president you can get him to take over that country and make the feeding of Afghan children your top priority. They are always so grateful for outside help.

Funny how Conservatives are so compassionate about Muslims abroad nowadays. It seems they want the US to stay there forever.

It’s not the fricking Mississippi delta, dude. It’s the harshest landscape for growing crops outside of Antarctica. Afghanistan is notoriously difficult for growing crops.

To summarize the late, great Sam Kennison, maybe we should start sending them U-Hauls instead of money. Look. It's sand. Nothing grows there. Figure it out.
