Reminds me of the Japanese exchange student that went to McKinley High in BR. Went to the wrong house for a Halloween party and was shot and killed by the homeowner.

Such an easy mistake to make, when all houses are identical and what not.

Oh for fricks sake. 30 black teenagers are shot and four killed in AL and not a fricking peep out of the black community. But a white guy shoots a black teen in his home and it’s a national tragedy.

We need more details. The article I read said that the kid was shot through the door after ringing the doorbell. If that is the case the homeowner is fricked, as they should be. The area where this happened is in a middle class suburb with very low crime. This isn't the ghetto. From what I can tell, it seems to me like he probably is a pretty good kid. The high school he goes to is one of the nicer ones in the area.

agreed. more detail are needed.
if he shot through the door, homeowner is screwed. if he opened the door and the kid started walking in, then we have a situation like the Japanese exchange student years ago, and a shitty situation for both sides.
hopefully the kid pulls through.

Honestly, I think the kid fricked up the address. If he went in the house, it is a tragedy all around. If he was shot through the door, the homeowner needs to go to jail. Wait to see the details is the right response for those who want to start rioting and those who want to make the kid look like he was up to no good.
