Seems cooler to me. I don't think we had a day that touched 100 degrees here in Birmingham this year. And that is abnormal for summer in Alabama. I remember back in 1993 we went 5 straight days with temps over 100. The only way I remember this was it was the year Davey Allison died in a helicopter crash at Talladega.

I can admit to climate change but the solution is not massive redistribution of America wealth through the unfair Paris Accord.

Well, it is real and unfortunate... I'm not a chicken little and we have bigger problems than climate change.

IMO the anthropogenic climate change fight is dead.. it was hyper-politicized and is now a motivating buttom for republicans taking an antiscience position. They use that button to defeat prudent and useful regulations that are actually needed.. so at this po int we need to stick to clean air and water and keep momma nature healthy enough to see this through.

Plus, poor countries need a combo of fossil fuels and renewables so they can enrich themselves.. once their QOL goes up they will naturally be more receptive to being stewards of something worth protecting.

When it comes to climate, the Democrats position has nothing to do with science either.

Don’t believe me? Tell one we are in a cool phase on the climate scale and tell me their response

Liberals just care about rich white guys making money off oil. They don't care about actual solutions to climate change or the actual causes.

Okay let's just say for the sake of argument that Republicans state that it's about jobs and the economy.

If they do that, will you stop trying to impose your agenda on those who want no part of it?

what do you think has more scientific evidence?

1. Climate change

Or

2. Differences in sex or what they like to call gender

Then you tell me who the “science deniers” are

OK so I am late to the party but Republicans/Conservatives deny climate change and in particular man made climate change because this tripe has been screamed about for years and none of it ever comes to fruition except for the stories about how the data is manipulated in order to push a clearly defined political agenda. The weak minded are susceptible to the fear and manipulation tactics used by those pushing the hoax and these folks doing this to take advantage of those being played should be ashamed. Anyway, just look at the recorded books for record highs and lows in any given locale. They are all over the map in terms of what year they occurred...that's because weather patterns, oscillation factors during the seasons and calendar years change periodically. There is a lot that goes into the weather patterns and to try to pin it on some man made hooey just doesn't fly in some circles because some of us study, and observe. In other words take this climate change bs and shove it up your posterior.

Its truly amazing what we have done since the 60's in this country.
And no one has given us a "atta boy" till now.

Burning polluted rivers of fire. We fixed so many of our rivers and lakes that are now enjoyed by all our citizens.

Smog in LA and other cities so bad that I grew up with smog alerts kids. Yes...smog alerts!

Power plant and car emissions have been drastically reduced from the industrial age.

Littering? You think its a problem now? You don't know how far we have come.

Roof top gardens, community harvesting, backyard growing, ocean and coastal watch groups with managed marine harvesting and countless other projects to increase food production and reduce polution.

We have as a country come so far its amazing. So while many only look at what is wrong too few look at what is so right these days.

Clear as mud isn’t it?

Seems like a stupid and childish way to look at things

I'm going to have an intentionally stupid opinion because I don't like someone else's opinion on a completely unrelated topic

How the frick can you justify being this fricking stupid?

The climate change theory itself states that increased CO2 levels wont allow heat to escape the Earth. Global Warming scientist have yet to explain how CO2 gasses can hold heat in but not keep it out.

I have my doubts about climate change, but this seems like a silly idea to hang your hat on. The greenhouse effect is a pretty well established theory.

The light coming in from the sun is a inferential wavelength than the light after it has reflected off the earth and traveling back out.

I think there are stronger arguments against man made climate change

This thread is nothing but a partisan dog whistle for liberal progressives, environmentalists, and scientifically ignorant Americans created by an obvious alter to stir hate and discontent towards “republicans.”
