She started volunteering in 1993 and retired in 2022 so maybe she was a bit more fit back then. Between firefighting, LEO and military, if you've been in that for 29 years you probably aren't boots on the ground anymore and get a tad overweight through age.
I don't think they were pushing DEI and lowering standards back in 1993, but maybe I'm wrong
She had a great career and Im sure the people of San Diego appreciate her work over the years.

There’s a huge portion of the LGBQ population that is against the T portion and actively pushing back. How do you know she wasn’t one of those?
I hear that a lot but I don't ever see any action following the words. Why aren't they out there protesting opposite of the group causing them issues in the public eye?
Actions speak louder than words. If you arent acting, you dont really care much.

No kidding....this is very strange. 2 of the biggest cities in CA just happen to have lesbo fire chiefs? Seems like it is a requirement instead of picking the most qualified.
I think theres actually 3. The Pallisades - Kristen K.

How much time do you spend on X and YouTube? If you dont see these activists then you need to get out of your bubble enough to expand your algorithm. There are quite a few very vocal activists.

Bulldaggers can be vicious.

Lesbians have the highest rate of domestic violence/abuse of any demo.
Because most are converted lesbians that use to have a man that beat them most likely.

My theory is that our society has considered domestic violence acceptable as long as it comes from a female. No one bats an eye when a woman slaps a man or punches him but they freak the hell out when men do it. Subsequently, woman have kind of continued forward with this mindset of DV being okay (it's not). Put two people in a house that believes it's okay or excusable to hit their partner and this is what you get.
this is actually a pretty good theory. the catching feature in woman on man DV is that 99% of the time, the man isnt really physically injured unless he allows himself to be because he's stronger. put that same mentality but woman on woman, and then suddenly you have women getting seriously injured or killed.

the problem is that men cannot, will not, and will never TRULY look up to a leader who hasnt "been there". she was probably a competent enough fire chief, and i'm sure she hit all the administrative wickets to get promoted up through the department, but a true leader in a field like that is someone who has been through the fire, literally and figuratively in this case.
also, regardless of whether or not she was a competent fire chief, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that at some point through her career she was given consideration over a man simply for being female and gay - and everyone knows that, whether they will admit it or not.

I want to know when shite hits the fan can you help me? If you cant meet the minimum requirements of the FD how in the F am I supposed to trust you in a fire situation?
I would have zero confidence and it makes your team weaker.

Are you out there protesting? A gay person can hate it as well, but also have a day job and not want to be out protesting it all day

I wouldnt mind if that entire group were lesbians and they were on their own with just lesbians serving in this particular unit.
I mean if they want a chance, let them have one.

It’s a non political news broadcast about a woman stabbed to death. She wasn’t a political figure and had zero impact in your life. Don’t be like the left and hate everyone you disagree with.
Agreed. Now when a politician who is part of defunding the police has their house robbed, or a liberal judge who releases violent criminals gets mugged.....not much sympathy from me there. But this incident is not that.
