Legitimately scared for family and friends

What is the common man to do in this time of such violence? The guy who goes to work, bothers no one and just wants to be left alone.? What does he do in this situation?
My parents are close to 80...my wife drives into BR daily for work.....my daughter is in Dallas for an internship at a construction company. What happens if they get caught somewhere and can’t get out and God forbid they are harmed? Why won’t local officials put a stop to this ?

Sounds to me like you should invest in a pair of Glock 43s and head to Dallas after you make sure the wife is comfortable with hers.

We are our only defense at this point. Train yourself, train your family and start arming up. Although for those who aren’t stocked, it may be too late. Ammo is going to get increasingly hard to acquire.

The thing is the democrats don't give a damn about your parents, your wife or your kids. If they think it helps them in any way politically they would watch every one of them die and not move a muscle to help.
For evidence, just look at some of the left wing posters celebrating the violence just because they think it may be hurting Trump politically.

First, start by never casting a vote for a democrat in any election EVER, be it national, state, or local, from President all the way down to school board.
Second, talk to your family about staying safe and avoiding dangerous situations.
Third, get a gun if you don’t already have one. Train yourself well on it. Go to the range. Educate your family on self defense.

Was rocking my daughter back to sleep earlier this morning while watching the news and I was grateful in that moment of complete disgust that she’s not old enough to ask questions about what’s going on bc I sure as hell don’t know what answers I would give her.

Anyone that says they do "really want to kill someone" is absolutely lying. However, there is a difference in being prepared to do what is necessary and sitting around waiting for someone else (police) to take care of you...
