I have a feeling this backfires on the left.
Doxxing works on people that work at large companies not so much on ones that own their own business. The smart ones lean into it and all of a sudden more money comes in.

A business doing something isn't an individual posting data on fraud and waste. A business acting in a certain way (say, hosting drag queen story time) gets boycotted because of the business' actions. DataRepublican's husband's business isn't DOING anything to warrant boycott, is it?

But it is widely agreed that primarily the left does use doxxing as a political weapon.
I sort of think if you really want to stand for something, who cares if you get doxxed? The message would feel more sincere for the person to openly say what they believe vs hiding behind a username.
