LeBron comes out with statement about race in America

after his house was vandalized.
"But it just goes to show that race will always be part of the world, part of America. Hate in America, especially for an African-American, is living every day. Even though it’s concealed most of the time, even though people hide their faces and will say things about you and when they see you, they’ll smile in your face, it’s alive every single day.
I think back to Emmitt Till’s mom actually. It was one of the first things I thought of. The reason she had an open casket is because she wanted to show the world what he went through as far as a hate crime and being black in America. No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough. We have a long way to go, for us as a society and for us as African Americans, before we feel equal in America. But my family is safe and that’s what’s important.”

Saw LeBron last night at the St Regis bar in SF. Nobody hating that dude. People adored the guy.
Although, he probably couldn't tell b/c of his 2 security guards blocking anyone from going near him.
Side note, dude totally blew off the couple of Cavs fans trying to get his autograph after he left the place.
