I am glad (and a bit surprised) to see anyone here acknowledge that Trump cannot change that with an EO and that Congress cannot change that with legislation. We should absolutely TRY to amend the Constitution on this point. Unfortunately, I don't see any chance of such a change being ratified by the requisite number of states.

We had a choice. Hate them or learn to live with them. Some choose to live with them and some friendships were formed.
I am not ICE. I can't arrest anyone. In fact I won't even report anyone. What I will do is wave goodby as they are being hauled off.
Not unlike a neighbor that was selling drugs. I handled that situation exactly the same.
Later, after the dude did his time (got legal) I treat him like any other neighbor.
I expect no less from people in Washington.

Exactly. The child's father is a citizen. Also, do we know when she became an illegal alien? How can I be sure she wasn't still here legally when she got pregnant and had the child?
Regardless, the child is a legal citizen even under the Trump admin's accurate reading that the Constitution does not impart citizenship on anyone and everyone ever born within our borders.
