On the other hand, it WOULD be interesting to see what would happen if the US Marshalls showed up to demand her release.

How could they do that? I don’t see it being pushed to that. It’s a fight that doesn’t make much sense to me, to be honest.

This has all the makings of appearing to put up a fight and then throwing around “cabal” or “deep state”, on a fight that was never going to happen or won.

Simple:

CUT-OFF any Fed-Gov subsidies to Colorado State programs.

And wait for the phone call, “Sir, she has been released”

And the fact that the entire GOP is not screaming for this shows how much they are in on the takeover of the USA.

I am legit so tired of it, I’m ready to physically fight for my country or if it doesn’t change and we can’t muster up traction to take it back, then I’m gonna eventually get out before it’s too late:

I won’t live very well under communist rule, I’d rather go out with a blaze of glory

You get the pattern now.

Do stupid stuff to further muh fight

Have it fail in embarrassment

Claim the "Deep State" (or another boogeyman) thwarted truth, justice, and the American way

"Yes. The State has this case in its jurisdiction. Adjudicated and sentence carried out in the same state.
However Governor;
Ms Peters identified voter fraud. Putting her in jail for what amounts to a prosecutorial snow job, only remains in your jurisdiction IF said prisoner is not a whistleblower. The Federal government can and has taken into their custody said prisoner and placed them under the Marshall Service until testimony is fully given.

The law below lays out exactly what Lawful code would or could be used to relieve a prisoner from States jurisdiction.
You're a Governor and you didn't know this?
?? Read and comprehend Sir, the gig is up. Better lawyer up.

9-21.010 - Introduction
The purpose of this chapter is to provide information and guidance to Department of Justice (DOJ) attorneys with respect to the Witness Security Reform Act of 1984, Part F of Chapter XII of the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984 (Pub.L. No. 98-473). This chapter contains regulations and provides general information about the Witness Security Program (the Program), and sets forth the procedures by which a government attorney may apply for the services of the Program in order to protect a witness against dangers that may be related to the witness's testimony. This chapter also provides information concerning the investigative use, or targeting, of persons who are in the custody of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) or the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), or who are under BOP supervision.

For information concerning the Emergency Witness Assistance Program see JM 3-7.340, or contact any USAO Victim-Witness Coordinator or the Executive Office for United States Attorneys' LECC/Victim-Witness Office."

But, of all of the cases and instances that have been discussed here for 5 years, I don’t see this being the one that “breaks it all open”. This does not make sense.

So-called "small government, state's rights, Conservative" types advocating for the complete destruction of those states rights by the Federal government that they've sworn to hate and distrust for the past decade because their team happens to have the ball right now.

The shift has been amazing.

Polis isn’t the state and county legislatures that are pushing the policies and agenda through. Of all of the “blue” governors, I stand behind my statement.

That is what’s the most ironic to me about this one. This isn’t a hill worth climbing. I’m not sure what I am missing here.

She clearly broke the law

She did not follow a proper whistleblower procedures

She literally gave confidential voter
information to two different unauthorized third parties

That information was made public and showed nothing to support her argument or the theory behind the steal

It's a literal disaster for anyone who believes that, which is why the people who promote the fantasy don't know anything about the actual case and just read things they hear online from dishonest content creators

That's why it takes a special kind of retard to promote this particular story

Add in the layer of the Federal government overstepping State’s rights and responsibilities and you’ve nailed it.

I guess the lawyers might file a writ of mandamus with a federal court, but the law is so clear that that won't do any good. My prediction is that the Administration won't do anything further. Rather than force a legal battle they would lose, they will just blame this on activist judges somehow.
Seems like the time to make that argument was before the trial started in state court, but I'm no attorney.
