Almost as good as yelling ICE in a Home Depot parking lot.

quote:

“Of all the places where the Rule of Law needs to be enforced, it should be in the hallowed halls of Congress. Any illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported," Gosar said.

Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS
?
@RepGosar
Today, Congressman Paul Gosar contacted the U.S. Capitol Police, as well as Attorney General Jeff Sessions, asking they consider checking identification of all attending the State of the Union address and arresting any illegal aliens in attendance.

Good for him. The replies to his account are pretty terrible, though. Typical ignorant leftists.

I would imagine that proper ID is required to get that close to the President.

Nab every one of them on the spot.

Had a guy doing some work at my place recently and was telling me about his 5 kids, kept repeating "they're all legal".

Never once said the legal status of him and his wife.

LOL

Just for clarity:

Are "dreamers" technically 'allowed' to stay (have protection from deportation pending outcome of the next DACA bill)?

I truly do not know the answer. I know DACA did allow them to stay. Unsure if THAT was been done away with now and the current negotiations are to reinstate or if it is in effect until some approaching date, etc.

I believe DACA are currently legal under the existing EO. That EO expires March 5, 2018.

So, while ridiculous theater and pandering / using....the DACA person is actually not subject to arrest / deportation.

I am actually glad for that. I would not want to have Durbin, et al, simply pissing on federal law. No matter the disagreement on policy. I hope that I (we?) are correct about the legal status at this time.

Well ya, that's why he was very careful to use the word "illegal" and not DACA or Dreamer.

These guys are pros at the canine and equestrian extravaganza.

While I agree they should not be allowed to attend the SOTU, I think arresting them at the door and deporting them would not be beneficial. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't people enrolled in DACA allowed to be here until further notice? I like to see a good a good liberal melt, but even I wouldn't want to see the shite storm this would cause.
