With grain ships being prevented from supplying African countries, NATO is putting another toe in the waters of a no-fly zone over the Western Black Sea.

It's humanitarian and all that stuff.

shot down or suppressed 56 out of 70 jet powered drones...

Ukraine’s air defenses down 112 Russian drones, three missiles overnight

26.10.2026 08:48

Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized 112 drones and three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine overnight on October 26.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

According to the military, overnight on October 26, beginning at 18:00 on October 25, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with one Kh-31P missile, three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles launched from temporarily occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, and 140 Shahed-type attack drones, including 70 jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera drones and Parodiya decoy drones. The attacks came from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo and Millerovo in Russia, as well as Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on October 26, air defenses had shot down or suppressed three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles and 112 enemy drones, including Shahed-type drones (56 of them jet-powered), Gerbera drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Russian aerial weapons were recorded hitting 15 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at four locations.

The attack is ongoing, with several Russian drones still in Ukrainian airspace.

Hegseth is not signing the transfer orders from EU countries to Ukraine.

Already approved European Patriot missile deliveries must be unblocked, Zelenskyy says

October 25, 2026, 04:10 PM

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for the unblocking of deliveries of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems that he said had already been approved by European partners in an appeal on X on Oct. 25, while commenting on Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past week.

“This past week alone, Russia has launched around 1,600 guided aerial bombs, 48 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, and nearly 2,300 attack drones against Ukraine,” the president said. “Unfortunately, almost every day, these brutal strikes leave people killed and injured.”

Zelenskyy stressed that this is Russia’s response to diplomacy and de-isolation.

“It is very important that support for those who protect lives not diminish alongside the negotiation process,” he said. “We need to unblock the deliveries of Patriot interceptors already approved by European countries. We need to continue supporting Ukrainian combat aviation to defend against jet-powered Shahed [drones].”

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs reported on the supply of air defense interceptors to Ukraine, first and foremost Patriot missiles. We are working on several tracks – with the United States, Europe, and other partners that have stocks of PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles. In particular, we have been waiting for nearly a month for Mr. Hegseth to sign off on missiles for Patriots and NASAMS. I instructed our team to raise this with the American side once again. Conversations with other countries are also ongoing.

Now Z is publicly whining that he can't use Starlink to strike inside Russia

But yeah, Musk was totally just lying about them violating TOS to do that.... Right.

I love being right. Especially when it embarrasses our resident propagandist duo.
