Russians withdrew 513 billion rubles in cash from their accounts in two weeks—banks are losing more than 1 billion rubles an hour.

From July 1 to 16, demand for cash doubled compared to June, when 479 billion rubles were withdrawn in the entire month. Since February, the volume of cash in circulation has increased by 2.4 trillion rubles.

The Central Bank of Russia attributes this increase to mobile internet shutdowns, tax changes, and the holiday season.

The share of non-performing loans exceeded 11%, and among small businesses, one in six is ??delinquent.

From ISW:

quote:

Russian commanders have held choreographed meetings to make aggrandized claims at least once a month since January 2026, likely as part of a cognitive warfare effort intended to falsely portray Russian forces as advancing across the theater and Ukrainian lines as imminently collapsing.[3]

Gerasimov’s July 18 speech was unusually short and reiterates several claims from recent speeches, however.[4] The shortened speech and relatively few new claims of advance may reflect the relatively short amount of time between the July 18 speech and the July 3 meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other senior Russian commanders.[5] This difference may also reflect the reality that Russian forces have few gains to report.

ISW has observed evidence to assess that Russian forces have lost terrain at a rate of about 1.6 square kilometers per day between July 1 to 17, 2026, and Russian forces will likely continue to struggle to achieve meaningful territorial advances as they have in recent months.

Looks like the Turkey Shoot is over for now.

Final Score: 175 - 0.

Minimum of 175 vessels struck;

Zero vessels berthed and unloaded in a Crimean port.

Numerous drone attacks in the Moscow region last night. A second major Wildberries warehouse was struck as well as an oil depot in Lvovsky and the Domodedovo International Airport logistics center.

The news / video of the latest strikes on Russia only start coming in between 3am and 8am. Then they all come in a rush. It's getting hard to keep up with all of it. But I'm not complaining...

Here's a video of a Muscovite talking about the advantages of Regions breaking off from Moscow. You can bet this is a common theme in those Regions now, so common this guy is releasing this video to the public. Another example of the new Russia - people don't care about consequences any more.

Other than superficial damage and waking people up, none of those drones strikes in the video are doing much to those vessels

That's how a lot of these strikes are, or you wouldn't see stories of them hitting the same target 4 or 5 times.

They still cause damage or disruption even on less significant hits. But when you see "drone attack" or "strike" in a headline I think your mind (at least mine anyway) goes toward there being pretty significant damage and that isn't always the case once you actually read the story.

Damaged tankers in the port of Azov, Rostov Oblast.
Good catch. That's five tankers, three sea-going barges (smaller tankers) and a cargo vessel loaded with what seems to be plate steal (not a typo). All pushed up to the bank and stacked, not a berth in site. More hulls to the upper right of the photo.

These vessels will be here for a long time. The word "salvage" comes to mind. You know there won't be a marine insurance company to fight over the rights.
